I’m surprised nobody thought of it before. Now that I’ve mentioned it somebody’s going to make a fortune with the idea bit remember, you heard it here first, for free.

In the beginning, every web domain was .com (commercial), then there was .net (internet service providers originally), then .gov (government agencies), .mil (armed forces) and .org (not-for-profit organizations). Now there is .biz (businesses), .mobi (mobile web), .info (information providers), and so on.

So why has there never been a dedicated domain for “adult content?” I hereby propose that all adult sites be placed in the domain…

Now, you might think .sex would be more natural, and I admit it would be a good choice. But for .cum, you only have to change one letter and it’s close to what you’re used to already.

Having all the sex sites in one domain (other than .com) would make things so much easier. Filtering software (to keep your kids from going to sites they can get to anyway) would work better. And so would keeping up with your significant other’s surfing habits, if you were into that sort of thing. If you noticed them spending a lot of time on, say, teabagparties.com, you might think they were interested in politics. But if they were spending five hours a day on teabagparties.cum, you’d immediately know what they really meant when they said they were going out to “stuff some envelopes” with their “fellow baggers.”

Maybe we could start a movement, make our slogan, “Sex Cums Home” or something.
